1:1 Coaching · By application
Coaching for the moments that change everything.
You do not need a crisis to work with a coach. You need a question you keep circling. Bring me the one about your career and AI, or the one about your life. Most people bring both.
I read every application myself.
Who this is for
A question you keep circling.
If one of these sounds like you, we should talk.
Career & AI
Your value at work
AI is changing your role and you want it to become the reason you move up, not the reason you are replaced.
Transition
Career change
You are changing roles, leaving one, or being changed out of one, and the next step is not obvious.
Transition
Retirement
You finally have the time you spent years wanting, and no map for what to do with it.
Transition
Empty nest
The house got quiet, and the role you have held longest just changed shape.
Growth
Not finished
Nothing is wrong. You just know you are not finished.
Two tracks
Choose your starting point.
The best results come from a full year together. Each track has a minimum so the work has room to land.
Professional
Career & AI Coaching
For professionals and leaders who want AI to multiply what they already know, and want an insider's read on level, pay and the next move.
- Add AI value to the skills you already have
- Read your level and your pay like an insider
- Plan the move, the raise, or the re-level
- AI tools office hours, twice a month
- A monthly group call with the Career & AI group
Personal
Life Transition Coaching
For the moments when life shifts and you want a clear next step: a career change, retirement, an empty nest, or simply not being finished.
- Name the real question under the noise
- Test your decisions between sessions
- Leave with a next step you have already started
What is included
Support between sessions, not just during them.
Individual calls
One on one, on video, wherever you are. Built around your situation, not a curriculum.
Voxer access
Send me a voice or text message between sessions when something comes up. The work does not wait for the calendar.
Monthly group call
One live call a month with the Career & AI group, for the questions you have in common. Career & AI track.
Your intake & plan
We start with a confidential intake so the first session goes straight to what matters.
AI tools office hours
Twice a month, live. Bring the tool you are stuck on and we work through it together. Career & AI track.
Why coaching
Most people do not need more information. They need the right question.
What coaching does
Gives you one hour where nobody needs anything from you. Separates the decision from the noise around it. Names the thing you already know and have not said out loud. Turns circling into a next step you will actually take.
What coaching is not
It is not advice. It is not therapy. It is not me telling you what I would do in your place. You are not a problem to be fixed. You are a person with a question, and you are the one who answers it.
How it works
Four steps. Nothing hidden.
Apply
About five minutes. Tell me where you are and what you need. I read every application myself.
A conversation
If it looks like a fit, we set up a call. You hear exactly how it works and what the investment is, before anyone asks you to decide.
Your intake
A confidential intake, personal or professional, so we skip the summary and start with the real question.
The work
Calls and Voxer between them. On the Career & AI track, add the monthly group call and AI tools office hours twice a month. You test things, come back with what happened, and keep moving.
In their words
People who trusted her judgment.
I never knew what my career level was, so I loved how Carrie walked us all through the process. Learning AI in parallel was amazing. I was fearful of it, but now I am comfortable navigating different platforms. Carrie is always answering questions, and that is rare.
Halley · San Jose, CAStill in the Room, Cohort 1Carrie helped me identify how my degree correlates to AI and even helped me map my coursework. I can talk with recruiters about compensation and career leveling, and I learned AI on top of that.
Veronica · Boston, MAStill in the RoomOne of the most impactful leaders and mentors in my career. She led with both professionalism and genuine compassion, creating an environment where every team member felt valued, respected, and heard.
Divya BodapatiHuman Resources Professional, via LinkedInWho you would be working with
I have sat on both sides of the table.
I designed and implemented job architecture and compensation structures worldwide for Fortune 500 companies. For years I sat across from people at the exact moment something was about to change for them. I know what it costs to be the one making the decision, and what it costs to be the one it happens to.
I am in coach certification with the Hudson Institute of Coaching, completing in March 2027. I studied philosophy, with a focus on ethics and critical thinking, and I coach the way I was trained to think: facts over fear, and honest answers over easy ones.
And I am not coaching from the far side of these questions. I rebuilt my own career and my own life around them.

Questions
Before you apply.
How do I know if we are a fit?
That is what the application and our conversation are for. If it is not the right fit, I will say so and point you somewhere better. Nobody should be paying for coaching that was never going to work.
How long is the engagement?
Career and AI coaching is a minimum of six months. Life transition coaching is a minimum of six sessions, two a month over about three months. The clients who get the most out of this work with me for a full year.
What is the investment?
It depends on the track and the length, and it is shared on our call once we both know this is a fit. Applying does not commit you to anything.
How does Voxer work?
Voxer is a free walkie-talkie style app. Between sessions you can send me a voice or text message when something comes up, and I reply between our calls. It keeps the momentum going between calls.
What happens in a session?
You talk. I ask questions. Not the polite kind. The kind that get you past the version of the story you have already told yourself. Most people arrive with a decision they have been circling for months and leave with something they can act on.
Is this therapy?
No. Coaching is forward looking. It is about what you want, what is in the way, and what you are going to do about it. It is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment, and it is not a substitute for any of them. If something comes up that belongs with a therapist, I will say so.
What if I do not know what I want to work on?
That is the normal starting place, not a disqualifier. Most people arrive with a feeling rather than a question. Finding the real question is the first piece of work, and it is often the piece that changes the most.
Is it virtual?
Yes. Video calls, wherever you are, plus Voxer in between.
Your next step
Tell me where you are. I will tell you if I can help.
Five minutes. Read by me, personally. A reply within three business days.
